Laurie entered the Direct Selling industry in 1970 when he was appointed Vice President, AMWAY CORPORATION to plan and Manage AMWAY's International Expansion , "pioneering" International [Distributor] Sponsoring. Between 1970 and 1986 he personally planned and managed new market development in Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Thailand, Korea and China. In 1987 Laurie elected to utilise his extensive corporate experiences and founded GLOBAL DIRECT CONSULTING SERVICES to become the preeminent services provider in New Market Planning and Development to DSA members worldwide.
